Venue Decor and Details

Our venue was everything I had imagined. So beautiful and very vintage. It reminded me of home which made me so so happy. I loved this place the second we set foot on the property to look at it. I was so glad when Kevin felt the same. We booked it immediately. It was already so beautiful that we only needed to add our own touch in simple ways. It was a lot of fun to decorate and put our personal touches all over to make it ours. I loved watching my views and hard work all come together and have it turn out just the way I pictured it.
Our colours were very neutral. Gold, brown, cream and a light pink. Then we added pops of colour here and there with Kevin's tie and the flowers. To me everything looked like it came out of a dream. MY dream. I could not have been happier with how things turned out!
Everyone I worked with saw my view 100%. My awesome brother surprised me and my best friend with a day of pampering the day before the wedding. This included that awesome manicure of pink and gold nails. I LOVED my nails more than ever before. Erin the florist just knew exactly what I wanted when it came to the floral crown that made me feel so so beautiful. The jewelry from both vendors were exactly what I needed and wanted. Since we didn't have a bridal party, I knew I needed to still get something special for those women who mean the most to me. So those bracelets were so perfect and helped me tell them thank you for everything. I especially needed to thank my mom. Mom's are the greatest! She helped as much as she could being far away. She added all of the special touches included those cute fans which had word games for the guests on the back. Everything else just seemed to fall into place so amazingly. Not without a lot a lot a lot of stress in the weeks before and a lot of help from amazing friends and family. Down to every small detail, it was everything I have ever wanted.

I absolutely loved our venue. Finding the perfect venue that suits your vision is so vital to making your wedding day reflect you as a couple and help you feel comfortable on your special day.

We really lucked out!

xoxo

  1. Love this! What a pretty wedding! I had games during my cocktail hour, too. There were two middle schools who said it was the most fun wedding they'd ever attended. :)
