Two Days in Paradise.

Christmas break was such a good time. Seriously. My most favourite presents were getting to spend time with those that I love and adore. Which clearly meant going home and seeing my family. It also meant getting to fly to California for New Years Eve. I could not have asked for a better way to ring in  twenty-fourteen.
So after one mechanical difficulty, one delayed flight, sixty gates ran, two bloody feet, one almost missed flight, and one lost bag I finally made it to beautiful sunny Cali-forn-ia. Despite the insane morning, my heart could not have been happier. I was reminded how giddy my heart gets when I am in the warmth of the sun, my feet in the cool salty water, and my eyes gazing on all the beautiful {and handsome} things around me.
It may have only been two short days spent there but we had so much fun and I of course was too busy enjoying my time there to take enough pictures. I.suck. But just trust me. It.was.amazing. We played in the sand and the ocean, watched the sunset, ate dinner on a rooftop, rode a ferris wheel. We slept in, were lazy lazy lazy, ate delicious food, danced the night away, and there was a seriously great midnight kiss involved.

Now back to reality. Which just really isn't so bad either.

  1. How fun! Spending time with loved ones is probably the best gift during Christmas, no matter what happens.
