I've been tagged! The stylish and fun Kara from StyledWithLife, who just happens to be one of my fab sponsors this month(yay!), tagged me in this awesome Q&A.

So how does it work? Well I get to answer her questions for me, and then I get to tag some of you and ask my own questions!

The Rules:
*Post these rules
*Answer the 11 questions that the tagger posted for you
*Create 11 questions of your own to ask the people that you're about to tag
*Tag 11 people and link them with your post (and let them know they've been tagged!)

1.What made you start your blog?
I started my blog around this time last year, because I moved to Hawaii and wanted to keep my family and friends updated on daily life and I wanted to remember every moment!

2. Where did you grow up?
I'm from a small town called Magrath, in Alberta Canada. It's a straight up farming community where everyone knows everyone and everything you do!

3.Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
hmm, I see myself living in a very personalized home, with a handsome hubby and my pup!( If this happened to be in Hawaii, I wouldn't be mad!) Hopefully I will be working at a job I love, or possibly owning a bakery! I will definitely still be blogging :)

4. If you have one, what is your day job?
Oh geez... I love all things creative and naturally I work on peoples teeth for 8 hours a day...makes sense right?

5. What female celebrity do you idolize most for their style?
Jessica Alba...she's such a chic little momma

6. How would you categorize your personal style?
I think I would describe myself as a chic hippie lol. My style is very relaxed but I still like to stay classy!

7. Who is your current Blog Best Friend?
Sadly I haven't really gotten to know anyone super well yet! But I am looking forward to getting to know you all better! :)

8. Be honest, do you make your bed everyday?
pahaha...definitely not!

9. What is one thing your blog followers would be surprised to learn about you?
I have given up sugary treats and all things that go in a naughty diet for a long time now, but I CAN NOT for the life of me give up chocolate...dark choco is my weakness...stick that in front of me and I can't say no...even if I try!

10. Where is your favourite place to shop for clothes?
I have to pick just one!!? Well for budget friendly I always love a good F21 find!

11. What life event have you learned the most from?
I got divorced 2 years ago after my husband had a pretty nasty affair. I have never learned so much about myself! I am WAY stronger than I ever thought possible, and I have learned to love myself and that I can do hard things, even on my own! :)
"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain"and dance I did! All the way to Hawaii!..I even wen't back to school for performing arts!

Meatless Meal Tuesday

Hey Everyone!
Bella here again! You might remember me from my last post over HERE

Well today I am guest posting for meatless meal tuesday!
Now don't get me wrong I love a good piece of oh so scrumptious meat. mmm mm.
But I'm not lying when I say these meatless treats are to die for! So pups, go get your lovely owners to make them! Maybe they will even cut them into hearts like Lauren did for me, because you know...she seriously loves me! I can tell, cause she takes me for walks, gives me LOADS of belly rubs and lets me sleep with her! And to top it all off she makes me my very own doggy bags full of treats!

Peanut Butter and Banana Treats

mix together: 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup wheat germ, 1/2 cup rolled oats

Add: 1 4oz can of banana baby food puree, 1TBSP NATURAL peanut butter (very important that it is added nastyness, just peanuts)

Mix that all into a firm dough and roll out on to lightly floured surface, and then cut what ever size and shape you want!

Bake in the oven @ 350 for 15-20 mins!

Store in a paper bag so they don't go soggy!

Sweet Potato and Parsley Treats!

mix together: 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup wheat germ, 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1 tsp of dry parsley( this helps with doggy breath)

add: 1 4oz jar of sweet potato baby food

mix into firm dough and roll out onto lightly floured surface. Cut out into whatever shape and size you like!

Bake in oven @ 350 for 15-20 mins

Store in paper bag to avoid soggy treats!

Making your own puppy treats is an easy way to know what is in what you are giving them! Plus its a nice surprise to get something homemade! Take it from me! I love it when Lauren Makes these for me!

Until next time friends!

I Must Confess

Oh hey there!

Today I am also linking up over at NewOnU to air my dirty laundry at Monday Confessionals!

I confess that I wonder if I left my flat iron or curling iron on, every time I leave the house.

Yet, I confess that yesterday was the first day I really did my hair all week long!

I confess that even though I only work at the dental office ONCE a week..every time Friday roles around I grumble and just do NOT want to get up and go!

I confess that I dream about owning my own bakery EVERY SINGLE DAY! think I can ever make this happen? Sheesh, I really am gonna try! I would possibly be the happiest person!

I confess that I go through a WHOLE bag of grapefruits in one week..I just can't help myself!

I confess that I still watch OTH ..out of obligation only.

I confess I did not eat a real meal from friday night until Sunday night @8. Whoops?

I confess that I slept a whole 13 hours friday night...sigh. felt great.

I then confess that that was the first goodnights sleep I had in a LONG time, and little did I know it would be my last for a few nights to come!...Nephew came LATE LATE Saturday..and well who can really sleep until you hear the news and name and all the joy!! And now I have a lovely little puppy sleeping on my face for the next few nights! Of all places WHY my face?

Care to confess? Head on over and link up! :)

Sponsor Feature!

Hey Everyone!,
Need a Monday pick me up? I have just the thing for you!
She's stylish and funny, and gives great tips on how to make your home and self just a little more awesome! So here is a little bit about Kara over at Styled With Life...

Hey! My name is Kara, and I'm a 20- something just starting out in the blogging world! (I’m really loving it!)
I was born in Idaho, have lived up and down the coast of California, but feel most at home in the Bay Area.
It’s where I went to college, work, and most importantly where I spend time with my wonderful family and friends.
I love fashion, interior design, bad reality TV, bright colors, neutrals, rom-coms, animals, Kristin Wiig and Keri Russell (just to name a few things!)
I’ve come to a place in my life where I’m learning to love the little things and take in every moment. I am constantly reminded of how lucky of a girl I am. I find time for gratitude everyday.
Styled With Life is a “lifestyle blog” where I share my love of fashion, interior design and products I’ve come across. I also love to share tidbits of my life, work, family and friends.
I’d love for you to stop by, and maybe even stay awhile! I look forward to meeting you!

Isn't she sweet? So do me a favour and go ch-ch-ch-check out her blog StyledWithLife, make sure you follow her, oh and tell her I sent you! :) You will not be disappointed!

See Mondays aren't so bad, when you meet a new friend!

A Look Into My Personals.

So today the topic is purses...honestly peeps, I HATE purses. I can never find what I'm actually looking for instead I always end up with handfuls of nothing I am looking for. So to try to curb that problem I recently bought a smaller purse. Problem....not averted. sigh. But hey its a really cute purse so that's all that really matter. Anywho! Today I am linking up over at TwoSmuppies to let everyone see what I carry around with me every day!

Let's see what we've got here.. In no particular order..

My wallet, which is FAR to big.
$5 which apparently did not ever make it into the giant wallet.
My pay check...which should probably go in the bank, not my purse.
Lotion, which I use all the time because try hands make me anxious.
My 10 Shine Project pass it forward cards (more on that next week)
Hair elastics and a lot of them. Incase of emergency.
LOTS of lip chap/ lipstick in different shades of pink...because I mean who knows what shade you'll be in the mood for at any given moment.
My ancient Ipod and headphones. I listen to music when I go that rude? I donno.
1 Fruit leather..that can only be found at Costco in the thats RUDE!
2 pens and some sticky notes...for when I get those awesome epiphanies..that end up in my phone list anyways...
Hand Sanitizer, I can not go anywhere with out it, I have a problem.
Socks...because like Cassie over at COMEWHATMAY, I am ALWAYS ready for a spontaneous bowling trip, oh and I have a issue with having bare feet in other peoples houses.
Mints, both stolen and not.
Tissues..because I am a cry baby.

So there you have it! Everything that comes with me on a daily basis. What I think this says about me?..I have adult ADHD and am a germaphobe! Exciting no? :)

Ok guys, so I have been coveting a painting for a while now and of course its like $100 plus dollars, which, I am on a a ramen noodle every night budget..haha..but seriously. Anyways, when you can't afford something, make it!!

Step 1 and Step 2: I didn't want a stark white background like how canvas' come, so I spray painted in with a matte ivory paint. Then I pick brown paint and a super skinny paint brush to paint branches.

I used a ton of different colors for the dobs of paint. I can't even tell you which colors because I mixed them to get the right shades to match my room and my pillows.

To do the "flowers" on the branches I used different sizes of stencil dobbers.

Then VOILA! your master piece has been created!

Go ahead and try it out if you like it!!
What are some projects that you've done lately, or have wanted to try?! Link up and let me know!

Ummm soooo guys this is how I feel right now! It is 1am and
I have been trying to figure out how all of you make your awesome buttons for your blog and uh well if you check mine out it is PEUNSY.tiny.iteebitee! I use photo bucket and its all done right except for the fact that it is SOOOO small! WTF guys! Help a fellow blogger out? I'll love you forever.

1 tsp ground cumin
3/4 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp coarse ground black pepper
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 can (15-19 oz) garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
parsley to garnish (optional)

How To:
  1. Cook pasta as directed.
  2. Meanwhile in a nonstick skiller, heat oil with butter over medium heat until hot and melted. Add onion to cook, stirring occasionally until tender and golden.
  3. Stir in garlic, salt, cumin, coriander, allspice and pepper.  Cook 1 minute.
