I don't know if you guys watch that show but anyways this is the best thing I have EVER made with banana's. I can't tell you how many times I get requests for these lovelies! This week my mom asked me to make a doubled batch so she could keep some and then give some away....she decided she wanted to keep them all. So thats cool! Then today Linds asked if I had blogged the recipe...and I am pretty sure I have not...which is sad for all of you! But if I have already then this is just a reminder of what you SHOULD be making this weekend! SOOOO with out further mouth watering...
Best Ever Banana Muffins
1/2 Cup melted butter
3 mashed medium over ripe bananas (the blacker the better...gross i know)
1/2 Cup sour cream
2 tsp vanilla
1tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 Cup sugar
as many chocolate chips as you would like!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F incase you are wondering that is 180 degrees C (fun fact for the day!)
In a small bowl mix together butter, bananas, sour cream, vanilla and egg.
In a larger bowl mix together remaining ingredients.
Make a well in the dry ingredients, add wet ingredients and stir until moist.
Pour into greased muffin tins ( I make minis and regulars)
bake until a toothpick comes out clean. K seriously I know that is annoying but I never set a timer or watch the clock on these guys. It always seems to be different. And also it depends what size you are making! So just do something around the kitchen while they bake and check them every few mins!
Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy! I know I am!!! :) Happy Weekend! Get baking!

Oh hello there old nemesis...how I've missed you.actually I haven't. Not one bit.I have to say we could be a lot better friends if you happened later on in the day..just sayin'. I have given you multiple tries. And sorry to say but you just aren't my favorite. I guess I should cut you some slack since you only really happen when I am headed to work...which some how doesn't make you more appealing...But I shall meet you again next friday....so maybe you could smarten up by then? mmk thanks!

That is what my days are like as of lately...I honestly crave to write something interesting on here..something that will catch your attention...possibly make you laugh..who knows! But what I would end up writing about is....
My morning routine of debating whether it's worth it or not to get out of the cozy sheets ...just to pee...
Then comes my debacle of whether I should shower or not...then I decide I better work out...which means once I get my butt in gear I will eventually have to shower anyways....Point is I am in need of an adventure in a real bad way...
Then I eat a half a grapefruit and a BRAN muffin...which brings me to the fact that bran isn't even as boring as people think!! I have been requested to make bran muffins twice in two weeks and let me tell you they go FAST in this household. Even Linds who swore up and down and left and right that she hates bran muffins, ate one and wasn't even mad about it! soooo hazaaah to the discovery and bran is yummy and not boring!
So make these and enjoy them with some butter or jam or both!!
BRILLIANT BRAN MUFFINS
To preheat your oven to 350 degrees!
1 Cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 Cup buttermilk (or to make...add 1 Tbsp vinegar to 1 Cup regular milk)
1 Cup natural bran
1/3 Cup Oil
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 TBSP Molasses
1/4 Cup brown sugar
In large bowl combine flour, baking powder and soda, salt.
Make a well in the center
In another bowl stir milk with bran then let sit for 5 minutes
Add remaining ingredients to bran mixture in order given
Beat with spoon until mixed
Pour into well of first bowl and stir until just moist.
Batter will be lumpy so don't be alarmed!
Fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full and bake for about 20 mins or until a tooth pick comes out clean!
Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy!....I'm off to find an adventure more entertaining than a bran muffin!!...or go read a book and live vicariously through them...its no big deal..
