its a Marshmallow world in the winter

prepare yourself for a STICKY adventure

You'll need: 
1 cup confectioners sugar
3 1/2 envelopes unflavoured gelatin
1 cup cold water
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 tsp salt
2 large egg whites
1 tbsp vanilla ( you can use whatever flavouring you want! we used almond! it was great! even add some food coloring to add some more fun into it!)

How to:
oil bottom and side of a 9 by 13 by 2 inch rectangular metal baking pan and dust bottom and sides with some powdered sugar.
In bowl with electric mixer sprinkle gelatin over 1/2 cup cold water
In sauce pan cook white sugar, corn syrup, 1/2 cup of cold water, and salt over low heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. 
Increase heat to bring mixture to a boil until candy thermometer reads 240 F.
Remove from heat and pour over gelatin mixture.
Beat mixture on high speed until white and thick.
In separate bowl beat egg whites until they hold stiff peaks. mix in flavouring.
add to sugar mixture and pour into prepared baking pan. spreading mixture with damp hands.
sift confectioners sugar over top and let sit uncovered for 3 - 24 hrs.

ENJOY IN A STEAMY CUP OF HOT CHOCO...or make a smore :)..i chose to go the choco route..since I have a slight obsession and all!
